A Reducing Screwed Hex Nipple 3000LB Threaded is a type of a Pipe fitting which consists of a short piece of Hex pipe. Forged Screwed Hex Nipple produced from either Alloy 200 or alloy 201 is known to be extremely resistance to caustic alkalies up to and including the molten state. The extra-low content of carbon in both Alloy 200 & alloy 201 gives the alloyed Threaded Fittings Hex Nipple virtual immunity to intergranular attack above about a temperature of 315°C. Therefore, Nickel Alloy 200 Hex Nipples Manufacturer recommend using this alloy for high temperature applications. The presence of chlorates must be kept to a minimum in both Alloy 200 & alloy 201 Threaded Forged Hex Nipple, since they accelerate the rate of attack.
SS 310 Threaded Hex Nipple is a medium carbon austenitic stainless steel. The 310 grade Forged Threaded Hex Nipple can be used for high temperature applications such as furnace parts and heat treatment equipment. This stainless steel grade threaded hex nipple can be used in environments, where the temperatures can rise up to 1150°C in continuous service, as well as up to about 1035°C if the BS3799 Screwed Forged Hex Nipple is being used in intermittent service. Grade 310S is a low carbon version Stainless Steel Threaded Hex Nipple of regular grade 310.
The ASME B16.11 Threaded Hex Nipple Standard covers ratings, dimensions, tolerances, marking and material requirements used by man for socket-welding and threaded forged fittings.
